A Chiropractic Neurologist has completed advanced postgraduate training in functional neurology and earned board certification through the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (ACNB). This specialized training includes more than 300 hours of postgraduate education, followed by a rigorous, multi-day board examination.Unlike traditional chiropractic care, which primarily focuses on the musculoskeletal system, chiropractic neurology takes a brain-based approach to healthcare. It draws from the principles of neuroscience to evaluate and address how the brain, nervous system, and body communicate and function together. At The Cortex Brain & Spine Center, we use comprehensive neurological assessments and individualized therapies to identify areas of dysfunction and develop a personalized approach to care. Our goal is to help optimize nervous system function, improve performance, and support long-term brain and neurological health.
We work with all insurance companies. We can provide our patients with a SuperBill to submit to their insurance for potential reimbursement. While many of the treatments offered by The Cortex Brain & Spine Center are not typically covered by insurance, some may be eligible for coverage.
A Super Bill is a document that shows diagnosis codes and billing codes that you are able to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Our office policy at The Cortex is to collect full payment upfront at time of service, and we are able to provide Super Bills only upon request.

Following your initial examination and adjustment, we offer the Cortex Starter Pack, a one-time package of five treatments designed to help you get started with your care and experience the benefits of our approach. After completing the Starter Pack, patients may schedule individual treatments as needed or choose to purchase an additional treatment package. All care recommendations are personalized based on your individual needs, goals, and examination findings.Neurology Care ProgramPatients receiving functional neurology care follow a structured 6-week program consisting of 12 sessions. The program is designed based on findings from your initial neurological examination and is tailored to address your specific neurological and functional needs.
Every patient responds differently. Some people notice changes after their first visit, while others require more time, consistency, and repetition to achieve meaningful and lasting results. The timeline for improvement depends on several factors, including the severity, complexity, and duration of the condition, as well as how your nervous system responds to care. Our approach is individualized, with treatment recommendations based on your specific examination findings and goals.
